Hidden above The Drift Café and known only to a lucky few, The Drift House is an incredible coastal escape. Since taking over The Drift, we’ve kept it close to our chest — and we’re now excited to finally share it.
With sea views, a spacious garden, and the beach just moments away, it’s the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure — an ideal base for exploring the stunning Northumberland coastline.
Sleeping up to eight guests, the house offers bright, comfortable spaces to gather, unwind, and recharge — with the café downstairs and the coast right on your doorstep.
The Finer Details
The Drift House features four bedrooms in total: a spacious master bedroom, two flexible rooms that can be set up as either super kings or twins, and a single room. An additional pull-out bed is available to accommodate an eighth guest if required.
There are two bathrooms — one upstairs and one downstairs — both equipped with modern walk-in showers.
The house includes a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need for your stay, including an oven, hob, fridge freezer, kettle, cafetière, and sink. A washing machine is conveniently located in the cupboard on the upstairs landing.
Outside, you’ll find a generously sized garden with a BBQ, perfect for relaxed evenings after a day by the coast. The beach is quite literally just across the road, with sea views and the dunes visible from the upstairs living area.
Directly beneath the house is The Drift Café — our vibrant coastal café, open daily from 9am to 4:30pm. Whether it’s morning coffee or homemade food, it couldn’t be closer.
As the café sits just below the house, you may hear a gentle daytime buzz on busier days. By late afternoon, once the café closes, the space returns to a calm and peaceful coastal retreat.
A minimum stay of two nights applies.
